Cool to see your process. I have a tip to try: Put your sketch on the top layer, and set your sketch transparency to multiply, and lower the opacity a bit.
Then make a new layer under it, and you can draw under your sketch, and see where you are going, instead of drawing on top of your sketch and ”hiding” it.

Thank you! Long time ago I knew how I should do to make it transparent but then I forgot and got used to this more unpractical way.
