When I send away my book to a buyer I alway choose a portrait from inside and make a little drawing on the package. This is an actress I sent away today:-)

And I keep going back to my old portraits. It´s good to have a theme when you want to do some quick drawing exercises.
..to draw. I think it is a difference between an illustrator and a draftsman (is that the word? For someone who is good at drawing?) I am an illustrator but I´m not that good at drawing. I feel pretty safe (when I don´t get my self-confidence crises) when it comes to colors, compositions, design, ideas etc but some people also has the skill with drawing. I´m thinking of finding a course where you just draw, where you work on finding ”your line”. That would be fun.
This weekend I had to look in my wonderful old book again, with all the b/w photos and do some drawings. I´d like to develop this side more, as a contrast to all the child-products (which I love) I´ve been working on lately. That´s why I did all the portraits last year.
There is this wonderful little shop in Gröndal, south of Stockholm, where you can buy things as aprons, trays, notebooks etc. The place is run by people with functional limitation and they have also done all the illustrations and patterns. I love this drawing. It doesn´t get better than this.
