Easter pics

It is more winter in the archipelago than in town. But easter was sunny so soon the snow will be gone there as well. I long for summer holiday SO much when I´m out there. The eggs are supposed to be my sister-in-law and my husband. She is in the bottom pic aswell if you want to check the resemblance.

Glad midsommar

Tomorrow we celebrate Midsummer. It is the longest day of the year (in the north of Sweden it is day light day-and-night) We eat herring, drink grogs and dance around a maypole. I´ll be back in a couple of days.

Illustrations I´ve made for Viking Line that are a bit ”midsummerish” and some illustrations from and old cookbook. The b/w is about dill, a typical Midsummer herb.

Pics from Sandhamn

I´ve had a relly nice and calm weekend in the archipelago. Some photos.

If you wonder about the grey lady laying down, it´s my mother waiting for the sun.

I feel a bit like a rookie with my new camera but I enjoy it a lot. If you want to visit a blog with really nice photos, go to www.smosch.com.
